Puff stitch

Uno de los gorros que tejí es el Puff stitch hat, un patrón fácil y un tutorial muy bien explicado. Tanto tutorial como patrón son en inglés, pero por si no hablan este idioma, el video es fácil de seguir.

One of the hats I crocheted is the Puff stitch hat, an easy pattern and a good tutorial.

 

El de color rosa está tejido con crochet de 4,5mm y usé el punto Puff stitch original explicado en el tutorial , los demás está tejidos con un «mini puff stitch». En vez de hacer tres lazadas (como en el punto original), hago solo 2, por eso lo llamo mini.

The pink one is made with 4,5mm crochet hook, and I did the original puff stitch, the others are made with a «mini puff stitch». Instead of 3 yo (as in the tutorial) I made only 2, that is why I call it mini.

Para el tricolor lila agregué un  borde de conchillas de 5 varetas, este y el celeste son el mismo talle, el verde y rosa son mas grandes. Todos son tallas para niños.

For the 3 coloured in the middle I added a shell trim, this one and the light blueare same size, the pink and the green are little big bigger. All of them are child size.

Los necesito para leer y cuando uso el movil y/o la computadora, pero me cuesta un poco acostumbrarme a ellos.

I need them to read and for the pc, but I cannot get used to them.

Estoy tejiendo una preciosa bufanda, de patron gratuito (en ingles) y recibi un monton de lana para tejer gorritos… no son preciosas??

Holaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Estoy tratando de tejer medias para niños. Es la primera vez que lo intento, asi que no se como saldrá el experimento. Encontre un video en YouTube donde tejen unas mediecitas a dos agujas, y luego llevan una pequeña costura lateral.

De todas maneras me gustaría tejer una media que no lleve costura… pero eso ya me parece mas complicado. Tienen tips o trucos para tejer medias? Comenzar por la puntera es mejor? Algun buen video o tutorial para recomendar?

Howdy! I am trying to knit sock for children. It is the first time that I try. I have found a video on the Internet where you can learn to knit socks, but you have to seam them on one side.

 

I would like to learn to knit seamless socks…. but that seems way too complicated. Do you have tips and tricks to share? Is it better to begin toe up? Any good video or tutorial to recommend me?

 

Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

Pattern and measures «Charity jumper»

This are the instructions to knit the little red sweater from the previous post.

Charity Jumper

Length: 38 cms

Width: 33 cm

Circular knitting needles 5mm

1) Cast on 80 stitches and join, be careful, do not twist.

2) Knit 7 rows Rib 2×2

3) Knit 2 rows

4) Increase 1 stitch every 4 stitches (you should go from 80 to 100 stitches)

5) Knit two rows

6) Make a second increase row, this time you should make 1 increase every 10 stitches ( 10 stitches increased)

7) Knit 25 sts, place marker (PM), knit 30 sts, PM, knit 25 sts, PM, knit 30 sts.

8) Knit 2 rows

9) Make an increase before and one increase after each marker

10) Knit all stitches

11) Repeat 9 and 10 until you have 39 and 44 stitches between markers

12) Cast off 39 stitches between markers (these are for the sleeves, if you want the jumper with long sleeves you should place the stitches on a holder and and knit them later)

13) Cast on 11 stitches under each arm (110 sitches total)

14) Go on knitting until the piece measures 36 cms. from the beginning

15) Knit 7 rows Rib 2×2

16) Bind off all stitches

17) Make a kind happy with this jumper

Encontré (de casualidad) un blog en el que explican otra tecnica que NO es el Magic Loop (para tejer con agujas circulares) pero que cumple la misma función.

Había intentado varias veces el Magic Loop y nunca me salía, pero esta nueva técnica, que se llama Travelling Loop que pueden encontrar aqui, funciona! Por lo menos a mi me funcionó,  aqui esta la prueba

 

Espero que les sirva y que la puedan utilizar ustedes también.

I had always issues with the Magic Loop technique to knit in the round, but I found a blog with another method, to achieve the same results, I tried it… and it works!! At least worked for me (as you can see in the picture above)
